What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Just a phone call to start the process and if all sounds good we set up a meeting to speak in person.

Please note: I specialize in mostly Illinois Madison and St. Clair counties as well as those neighboring counties from time to time. I would be also happy to refer you someone on the Missouri side too if property address is located there.

How did you get started in this business?

I'm a real estate brat that had an intereset in real estate investing so after I finished up w/ the military it only made sense to get my real estate license and help people by doing something I love to do anyway!


What types of customers have you worked with?

All types of clients from 1st time homebuyers, seasoned property owners, as well as investors. 


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I LOVE REFERALS so anytime a customer calls me and says a client of yours highly recommends you or could'nt stop talking about how great you helped them. I feel awesome inside about that and that I am very fond of!


What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Hiring the right expert in your area to help buy or sell a property is a big decision that I think a lot of homeowners jump into way to fast just for the wrong reasons. 

First, you have to have somone that you can relate to and speak freely with at all times. 

Second, you must have an agent who truly gets the home pricing in the area & is not affraid to let you, the client, understand that. Pricing is crucial for selling for max dollars and for selling quickly. Knowing the pricing is also valuable in the buying market too so you can justify and use leverage during negotiations. 

Last and the hardest thing to do. Have faith in your agent you choose and let your guard down a bit. Most people have a hard time trusting that a pro over their own ideas or knowledge. If your agent is like me they will properly guide you through the entire process with ease.


What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Take a second to really understand what the ultimate goal is and look at the big picture. Think of your options, strategies & game plan right away even before speaking to a pro. Also, this to me is very important. Do NOT do any major renovations or even smaller projects around the home until you have spoken with your real estate professional. This could be crucial to seeing a return or loosing money!
