Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always schedule a complimentary meet and greet in order to get to know the pet and the pet parents.
We have a pet software, where the clients can enter all their information and any special instructions that they would like the sitter to know.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our pet sitters have many years of experience caring for our clients and their own pets. They have been educated on how to give medication, whether it be oral or a shot.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing varies depending on the size and how many dogs the client have. We have a standard rate for 2 dogs and then for each additional dog there is a small fee added. If you have cats and dogs, then we will take care of your cats upto 2 free.
How did you get started in this business?
I originally started pet sitting as a hobby to increase my income when I retired. I never in my wildest dreams thought it would result into a full fledged business. I have enjoyed the journey of meeting new people who have become friends, and loving on their pets. The business, as most businesses is still a work in progress. We are always finding new and better ways to serve both our furry and human clients.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of clients. We not only take care of your typical dogs and cats, but we also have taken care of chickens, horses, rabbits, rats, snakes, sugar gliders, geckos etc. I usually have someone on my team that likes to care of the unusual.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would have them ask themselves, if they would want their pets to be comfortable, loved and played with in their own home while they are away on vacation or a business trip, or would they rather have them sitting in a kennel the majority of the day with very little human contact. We will send them pictures and updates so they know that their fur baby is being taken care of.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is the pro is Insured and bonded? We are!
One of the most important things that I would want to be sure of is that the pet sitter coming to your home and your pup get along. We offer a complimentary Meet and Greet so you can see that for yourself. We take the time to go over everything that you as the client want us to do for your pets.
