About
I take the time to learn about you and your family so the designs I provide are a reflection of your lifestyle. I believe spaces should not only be beautiful but should be functional and comfortable to work with your day-to-day life.
I love my job because I get to meet and work with wonderful people! Every day brings something new; a new client, new opportunity, or new design solution.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first step would be to walk through the spaces with you, asking questions about how you use them, what you like, what you don't like and listening to some of the problems you've identified and ideas you have. I take measurements of the space and then go back to my office to consider the floor plan and each issue we've discussed. I come back with recommended layouts, design ideas, images and sketches for you. Once we've decided on the best approach together I begin working on finishes, furnishings and all the details that will make it come together. I work with Ppinterest pages, email, phone conversations and meetings in order to communicate each aspect of the design to my clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Interior Design from The University of Kansas.
I also have my NCIDQ and LEED AP certifications.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I typically work at an hourly rate for all residential projects.
I only bill for my time, so if I am helping you with furniture selections then I will provide you with the designer discount price and bill only for the time spent in making the selection or purchasing the item.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked in architecture firms for 8 years prior to branching out on my own. During that time, I had been doing residential side jobs and now it comprises half of my business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all kinds of customers.
I began with commercial clients of all kinds (retail, religious, healthcare, hospitality, civic, private and corporate) which has helped my space planning and understanding of nearly every kind of situation and construction type. My residential clients vary greatly as well. I work with people on ground-up new construction or with smaller renovations. I can provide initial design ideas or full services.
