What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a phone call. If you know approximately the size and age of the home you would like inspected I can quote you a price. Also I will be happy to answer any other questions about the home inspection process that you may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Fully trained at Kaplan, the premier home inspection training organization. Also a background as a licensed building contractor.

How did you get started in this business?
growing up with a father that was a builder introduced me to home construction. I built my own house in 1983 and was a licensed contractor for many years specializing in remodeling.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most customers are purchasing an existing home. But also do inspections for sellers and people buying newly constructed homes.
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
I particularly enjoy working with first time home buyers. I try to approach each inspection as if my own son or daughter were buying the home.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Research before hiring. Talk to several inspectors and hire the one that feels right to you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do they have any specific concerns about this property? Are there any unusual aspects such as aseptic system or private well?
