My two dogs love going to Cheryls, and I always know they are safe and treated well. They get to play with her dogs, run around outside, and spend time cuddling like they do at home. I also enjoy getting updates from Cheryl during their stay. I feel that she cares for our dogs like her own, and they always come home happy and tired.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free 15-30 minute free meet and greet at my home to make sure the dog(s) will be comfortable at my house.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Certified Professional Dog Trainer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Dog boarding: $45 per day, discounts offered for multiple dogs in a family.
Dog Training $35 per 30 minutes. 30 minute minimum, 4 hours maximum for private training sessions.
How did you get started in this business?
My first dog, Molly, who was a Weimaraner, was the worst adolescent dog I've ever had. She ate though 3 steel kennels before she was one year. She failed basic obedience but I just kept training her. Eventually, she became the best dog in the world. I figured that if I could eventually have success, I could teach people how to get the same results.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all kinds of dogs over the last 19 years. I like to teach skills that will have the dog offering good behavior instead of destructive behavior.
We specialize in small dogs for our boarding service.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love Barn Hunting. I used to have a dog that Barn Hunted, it's a very fun sport!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Dog Boarding/sitting: Make sure your provider has actual insurance for their business. Many people & popular dog sitting companies, don't have insurance incase there is an accident of some kind or they have some kind of guarantee, that when you read the fine print isn't insurance at all.
Dog Training: Make sure your trainer has had some sort of formal training that required study and testing of skills from an accredited dog training organization like the CCPDT or the Karen Pryor Academy.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I believe dog boarding clients are looking for a place that they can bring their dog, fearful or not, and have a positive experience.
I think customers are worried about cost and effectiveness of dog training.
