Great job. I loved the way you handled my things. Nothing was broken, damaged or lost. I will most definitely refer you to my friends.
I had other movers who cancelled on me last minute, and these guys leapt into action to help me out. They were fun to work with, moved everything well, and made sure I was taken care of. Devon also told me about how they've gotten some bad reviews for rescheduling jobs, and I'm honestly not surprised - they're really popular! They said that during the summer months they get upwards of 9 jobs per day, many of which go past their scheduled time. People of the internet, I ask you this: If you had 9 customers per day asking for your services, and you had 3 teams working around the clock to get everyone on your list... How many customers do you think it would take before one or two of them slips through the cracks? Yes, it's unfortunate, and they don't try to make it happen, but it's just part of the game. These guys seem like they really try to take care of you, and they're worth every penny.
National metro movers did an excellent job. Even through the cold, they were very efficient. I'm not sure there are so many movers out there committed to moving things like Devon and his team
We can give you a rough estimate over the phone, letting you know how long your job should take. All of our work is hourly, so your price will vary depending on how big your job is.
Currently we charge $40 / hour + a .50 cent / mile travel fee per mover, labor only. You can add a truck on to any job for $100 + .75 cents / mile (15 miles included free)
**Current special: 2 movers for 2 hours + truck for $250**
We've worked with all kinds of people, from the hyper-organized to the hyper-messy. Turns out, no matter how organized you are, nobody likes to move. So we're glad that we can help people out, especially when their friends cancel last minute.
I know I'm saying this while we're still new to Homeguide and don't have any here, but definitely check out their reviews and their website. We've got a lot of reviews on other sites.
If you're still debating whether or not to hire movers, ask yourself the following:
Am I excited about moving heavy furniture up and down stairs for 6 hours?
Am I happy packing up everything I own over the course of a month, instead of a day?
Am I ready to be sore for a few days after we're finished?
What is the meaning of life?
If you answered yes to all those questions, then we've got a job for you. (yes, even the meaning of life. Everyone knows the answer is yes.)
If you answered no to one or all of them, then congratulations - you are a normal human being! Save your back, save your time and energy, and hire us. We'll take care of everything, so you don't have to worry.
