About
Rio Gran is a luxury boarding facility with 100 square foot 2-room cageless suites. Kitties stay in our kitty condos in a separate area from all the dogs. Our very large outdoor areas are all fenced and have either synthetic turf or pea gravel and the indoor play areas fitted with gymnasium type rubber flooring.
Doggie daycare is offered Monday - Friday and allows dogs to safely interact togther in a closely supervised manner.
We also offer group and individual private training for beginner to advanced obedience, agility, rally, nose-work (scent training) and therapy dog training.
Rio Gran has been in business in the same country location since 1990 taking extra special care of our furry friends!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will take in all the information about a specific pet including disposition, likes & dislikes, feeding instructions, medication instructions (if any) and any other pertinent detials
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of the staff has undergone professional training from Dog Gurus which takes about a month to complete
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Dogs boarding is $36.00 per day.
Cat boardingis $20.00 per day
Doggie Daycare is $28 for a full day and $16 for a half day
During major holiday's there is an additional $5.00 per day to help offset the overtime costs for all boarding stays.
How did you get started in this business?
A passion for dogs and a desire to hang out with them.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. Everything from dedicated hunters with well-trained hunting breeds to rescue parents, show dog parents, Police K9's and just plain old family dog parents. We do not discriminate and accept all breeds.

Completeing our daycare areas and watching the delight of all the daycare dogs when they come in for daycare
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask to see where they are keeping your dog and or cat. Ask is they ever get outside, and ask what they use to keep the facility clean with.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Does your dog like other dogs or dislike other dogs? WOuld your dog like to be in the company of other dogs, or would they prefer to be separate?
