We have a one year old Australian Shepherd (Sophie) who has been going to Dakotah's at least twice a month since about May. She LOVES it! I can't even tell her when we're going or I'll get knocked over going to the door!! She has such fun playing with her friends and the staff is great! We've had her stay over night a few times as well! They take GREAT care of her. The groomers are top notch too!

We have a German Shepherd who is almost 4 years and we have never taken him to a kennel. He has gone to the groomers for a few hours, but never in a kennel for a day or even overnight. With our boys leaving for college we are now searching for a place that Sarge will be comfortable.
When I found Dakotah's online it sounded like the perfect place for our boy Sarge. We were spot on!!!! Sarge loved his first visit to Dakotah's and when we brought him home he was so tired he went to his bed and fell asleep. While we left him there, of course, I got worried so we jumped on our phones and brought up the play cams to see him. He was so happy running around and playing with the other dogs.
We definitely recommend Dakotah's and we will be bringing Sarge back for another visit very soon! Hopefully for an overnight visit in the near future!

Highly recommend this place!! Our 2 dogs stayed here for 8 days. Of course they were happy to see us when we picked them up, but they gave the owner kisses goodbye. It was great to see videos of them playing while we were away! They get to play way more than I even thought they would. I have never been happier and more comfortable leaving my dogs. All the staff and the place itself were great. I wish nothing but the best for them and this is my dogs new home away from home. We have boarded them a coupe different places and this is by far the best place!!

Shirley loved her stay at Dakotah's Doggy Daycare! The 'play cams' allowed us to check in on her daily while we were out of town. It was very reassuring to see her playing and having a great time! I look forward to boarding with them again!

This place is amazing. We adopted a rescue dog a few months prior to our first visit at Dakotah. Our pup was scared when we first entered the building. He was barking and growling at everyone in the room. John, the owner, spent 2 hours with Noodles. First, to allow Noodles to get to know John first, then introducing him to the resident dog, Zeus, and finally introducing him to a regular. Then Noodles was ready to meet the other dogs and had a great time. When we picked him up the next day, John bent down to say goodbye and Noodles sat down next to him. We could see our dog really trusted John. The best part was Noodles slept great that night.
Our dog is a high energy Beagle puppy and can do lots of damage if he isn’t able to burn off that energy. We did daycare for the first time today because we were going to be gone for a long period of time. When we picked him up, he was tired and for once we didn’t have to worry about what he was getting into because he was asleep on the sofa. We will be taking advantage of the daycare more often.

What a wonderful and clean facility! I love how they have a procedure in place for introducing a new dog into the existing gang! You can clearly see the joy each person has in being there with our fur-babies! Highly recommend!

Our little dog just spent several days here while we were on vacation. John and his staff took great care of our girl! Loved that we could watch on the play cam to see how the pups were doing. She will stay again I'm sure. (My husband commented that she didn't smell like a kennel when she came home).

We brought our English Bulldog in to board last weekend. He is a baby and has never spent time away from us. We were so impressed with the facility, staff and play cams. Ruger was made comfortable and also got an excellent spa treatment:). He will be attending daycare a couple days a week now because we loved the fact that he was socialized and got to play with other pups despite his “bully” personality. I highly recommend!!

We were incredibly pleased with our experience this week. Our pup has never been kenneled and hadn’t been around too many dogs before his stay. They did great with him and it was nice to be able to see him play with the other pups via the playcam while we were away. We will definitely be back �

Above and beyond. We have not boarded out dogs for years, for lots of reasons. Last week, we had a trip planned, and decided we needed a new option for our 14.5 year old dog, Teddi. They were happy to accept our reservation for her very close to our departure date, and when we ran late returning, they waited for us so we didn't have to miss her for another day. Teddi was happy and healthy when we picked her up - a first after being boarded! I will bring her (and any future puppers) here with no worries whatsoever in the future. Best pet care I have ever seen.

After trying to decide on a location for 3 nights of boarding, we were told by one location our dog would not be welcome because she was a Pit. Thankfully, I had also researched Dakotahs and we called and told she would be welcome there. This was her first experience being away from her family and she enjoyed it. Gizmo can’t wait to return!!

We had them board our 1 year old Husky while we went out of state. The whole time I kept thinking about how bad she must be missing us.... NOT! LOL! When we picked her up she wanted to stay lol! With that said, she obviously had a GREAT time at Dakotah's. I'd definitely recommend them 👍

My family had an emergency and we needed to board bubba like now. I called and they set me up fast. Upon arrival staff was awesome and helped me out right away. Even called my vet to fax over shot records saving me the headache. I know a kennel should smell like dogs but this place was clean so clean my very high anxiety dog who hates his old kennel seemed to be at ease with the staff. I would highly recommend this just on first sight.

We’ve taken our 5 month old lab here a couple of times to burn up some energy. Dutch loves going to doggie daycare. When we get out of the car he’s running for the door, and when I pick him up he’s wore out 🙂 all the workers I’ve dealt with are nice and seem to enjoy all the dogs 🐾 plus you can watch your dog on the doggie cam!

We moved to elk river a couple weeks ago and dakotahs is super close to us. they really helped us out during the move in process and I absolutely love that they have drop in daycare! we also had baths and a deshed done and they did an amazing job.

Amy is the best groomer around! I wouldn't bring Maggie anywhere else. I have no idea how she does it, but Maggie always looks amazing after Amy works her magic! It's been 1.5yr that my dog is going to Dakotah's on a week day basis. It's his 2nd home and family. He is SO happy every morning to go and to be with some of his most favorite people. Dakotah's is a big contributor to permit my dog to be happy and well balance.
John and his staff are above expectations, very dog and people oriented and offer 5+ stars service. They are also taking the time to organize fun events (Halloween contest, thanksgiving, Christmas pic... ) and offer trainings. It is definitely a place I am highly recommending!
