About this pro

Each project is uniquely tailored to the individual client's needs. A personal yet professional approach ensures an enjoyable and seamless project.

My goal is for each client to feel like they are my only client. I strive to create a design that is not only functional and beautiful but, within the client's spending plan.

I have an honest approach to each design project and am thorough in planning details.

I love that each client and project is completely different. Getting to know clients and their families is truly a privilege and I value those relationships.

I have been blessed to work with many wonderful clients and contractors, many of whom are now my friends.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step is typically an introductory meeting. This can be done via telephone but I prefer meeting in person at the client's home.

This way we can get to know each other and begin to establish a personal connection, as well as discussed project details and expectations.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have had college level training as well as field experience in a number of different design areas, including:

Painting and faux finishing

Furniture restoration and upholstery

Window treatment design and construction

Antique and estate furnishings, art and collectibles

Kitchen and Bathroom Design

I continue my education with ongoing courses and memberships with NKBA, IFDA, WFCP and others.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

My standard hourly rate is $175.  Specific custom project rates are also available.

How did you get started in this business?

I began working for an antiques dealer/auctioneer while I was in my second year of college. He purchased estates and I would assist in valuating, restoring and inventorying the items.

I still have a passion for antiques, especially French and Italian pieces.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work primarily with residential clients from singles and couples to families and retirees.

I have specialized training in accessible design and kitchen/bathroom remodeling.
