Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to sit down with my new clients and discuss their needs and wants and talk about the home buying and selling process. I am here to learn, teach and discover how I can make the process as stress free as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the REALTORS Institute and am continually educating myself on legal updates, trends and the mortgage industry. Studying the real estate market is a daily business for me.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
There is no charge for home buyer representation!
How did you get started in this business?
I am a degree environmental professional and worked in the public sector and as a commercial building contractor. Moving on to helping people make one of the largest financial decision of their lives seemed to be a natural progression for me after all my years of experience and knowledge.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Home sellers, buyers and investors in real estate are my loves!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently attended the TEDxMacatawa talk which was amazing to experience.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Please don't think you will be saving yourself money by buying or selling real estate on your own. Just like you do a fulltime job and know what you are doing, a real estate professional is just that - a professional that studies the market and economy everyday. Remember, there is no charge for buyer representation and seller's who use Realtors make on national average 27% more.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are your wants and needs in a new home? What is your motivation to sell? Am I financially ready for this big move? I think I need a professional's advice to help me figure this all out and to keep my stress level down. That's what we do!
