In more than 40 years of training I've amassed an impressive amount of knowledge. I am able to determine the best training method each dog needs to succeed. I've worked with everything from Chihuahuas to Irish Wolfhounds. Every dog is different so I tailor your dog's training course for him/her. And I know there's nothing more rewarding than ensuring dogs and owners have the best relationship possible.
Helping a dog become a happy, well-behaved companion is the greatest way to make a living. Seeing dogs "get it" when the training clicks is such a joy. And watching the bond between the owner and dog grow stronger is amazing!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have an in-depth phone consultation first so I can learn about your dog and your expectations for training. I like to get your impression of the dog before meeting the pup.
During the call I ask a lot of questions and you are free to ask as many questions as you have for me. I want you to feel confident that you understand what training will involve and your part in it. I discuss scheduling to meet your schedule and explain the payment process.
When I meet your dog we'll begin working that day. There will be time for your questions before I leave.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 40 years experience training dogs. I've kept abreast of all the methods and techniques over the years to ensure i'm providing the highest quality, most effective training for your dog.

The cost of training depends on what service you choose. I offer Basic Obedience, Advanced Obedience, Problem resolution, Therapy Dog training, and Service Dog training.
How did you get started in this business?
My much older brother was a trainer and he got me involved working for him. I fell in love with training and have been doing it ever since.
