Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Autumn Fuchs re-established her west Michigan roots after receiving her degree in interior design and construction management from Central Michigan University.
Since then, she has made her mark on the luxury housing market, designing homes that range between $500,000-$15m+. With her background in construction and design, Autumn and her team tackle every detail of designing a home from collaboration with the architect through plumbing diagrams, electrical plans, custom cabinetry, and every aspect of home décor.
Autumn's favorite part of designing a home is getting to know her clients and how they live in their spaces, so she can tailor it to their exact needs and lifestyle. Her clients enjoy the sophisticated yet comfortable style of her design concepts, and builders have raved over her attention to detail.
Autumn is NCIDQ certified, and has nearly 10 years of experience in the design industry.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After your initial phone call or email with Fuchsia Design, an in-home consultation will be scheduled where we will discuss the details for your project. During this meeting, we'll go over questions about your taste, lifestyle, and overall project scope. Following the initial consultation, you can expect:
1. An itemized Design Estimate of how many hours it will take to complete your project. This gives you an idea of the cost of your design investment.
2. Should you approve the Design Estimate, you will next receive a Design Contract.
3. After reviewing the contract, you mail the signed Design Contract to Fuchsia Design with a 25% retainer fee. This retainer is applied towards all future design hours, and you will not be billed again until Fuchsia Design has exceeded the number of hours included in your retainer. Fuchsia Design bills each month on the 1st of the month, and payment is due within 14 days.
4. Once Fuchsia Design receives your signed contract and retainer, we are ready to go!
