We are a full service home inspection team that has been performing home and commercial inspections since 2004. In addition to ten years of inspecting we have several years of experience in environmental consulting including lead and mold assessment and abatement.
Our inspectors are certified by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors and the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants to ensure a thorough assessment of your property. Inspectors complete continuing education to ensure they are up to date with current industry standards.
We will use state of the art equipment, our years of experience, and the very best in reporting software to document any and all deficiencies in that home to give you a clear picture of the home’s condition before you buy. We promise to help you rest easy and give you the peace of mind that can only be obtained through a well-executed and complete home inspection.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A home inspection is a non-invasive process where all of the systems within a home are tested and operated to verify proper operation and installation. Doors and windows are operated, roofing materials inspected, air-conditioning and heating systems checked. The Inspector will fill the sinks and tubs, run the showers, and flush the toilets. All the while making notes on the condition and operation of the components tested. Upon completion a report will be provided to you.
Getting a Pre-Purchase Inspection is just about the smartest investment you can make. It reduces the risk of unexpected and costly repairs to ensure you feel completely comfortable with your new home purchase. In fact, many clients have saved thousands of dollars during renegotiations based on report findings, while others have avoided purchasing a “money pit”.

Home Inspections is the family business, and we have been preforming inspections since 1987.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types of customers including first time buyers, investors, sellers, new construction buyers, and commercial owners.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure your inspector is using the latest technology. The industry has changed in recent years, and the old way is no longer the best way. Make sure your inspector is "certified". Some inspectors claim being licensed is superior, and this is false. There is no license for a home inspector in MI, so all that they are telling you is that they are licensed in a related field. As a certified home inspector I am trained to be a home inspector in all fields, I am bound by a code of ethics, and by an industry standard ensuring that you recieve the best, and most detailed inspection possible.
