At Barking Trails we believe in a safe and happy world for dogs and cats of all kinds. We want to give your pets the care they need, and the love they deserve. Dogs need regular exercise in order to be healthy and happy, so we have designed a range of services to meet the varied needs of pet parents.
Each visit is covered by an experienced and dedicated Pet Pro who we've carefully selected. Our Pet Pros are all fully insured and bonded through the Pet Sitters Associates. Barking Trails offers

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our dedicated customer service team is ready to book your dog walking or pet sitting service by phone, email, or through our website. The new customer process starts with a free meet and greet. During the meet and greet a local dog walker and manager is introduced to the new client to important needs of the client and their dog.

How did you get started in this business?
Barking Trails was founded by Tristan Alleyne and Adam Goldberger in 2015, with the mission to provide convenient and affordable care for dogs and other pets in the D.C. Metropolitan area.
Barking Trails combines the reliability of a large company with the personal touch of an independent dog walker. You will always speak to the owner directly to book a consultation and for any customer service needs. Our walkers and sitters are all insured and bonded through the Pet Sitters Associates, and are experienced with all dog breeds and personalities.
