I listen to what you (the owner) would like to have done. Then we together or just me will assess your pet and come up with what is best for him/her('s) comfort level. They may not like it for whatever reason. But for them this needs to be a positive working experience so that they may eventually be calm and comfortable or at least be able to deal with the grooming experience better.
I do really enjoy working with the owners and their loved ones.

I like everything about having Millie groom my dogs. For 9 years. The whole answer to what is good is simply Millie. Besides being a highly skilled groomer and animal caregiver, she really does CARE. She is also an amazing animal communicator. My German Shepherds are pretty mellow about being bathed and groomed but when she comes to our neighborhood it seems that everyone lines up for her services, and I have seen her bathe and even trim the nails of a few very scared and thus scary dogs whose owners say she is the only one who has ever been able to do that. Millie knows what she is doing and does it so very well. And gently, with complete kindness. As only a person who is concerned with the animal can do. I have never trusted anyone else to groom my girls and yet I trust her completely. I have watched her do her work for years, and watched how mine love her. They are so happy when she shows up. They WANT to get their bath and groom. We absolutely love her!!!!
