We started WoofPack Pet Services to help support The Woof Pack, our pack of special needs animals we've rescued, adopted, fostered, and taken in. ALL proceeds from our services benefit The Woof Pack; so when you hire us, you can feel good about where your money is going and get a great service, too!
I grew up saving, rescuing, and caring for animals with my aunts. It's always been my passion in life. As a stay at home mom of a special needs son, I started pet sitting for friends and family. One dog ended up with cancer and required around the clock care. We ended up keeping him with us 90% of the time. I found solace and purpose in caring for him. It awakened a passion in me. When he passed, it was devastating; but he lived two years longer than expected, and we were able to make his time with us comfortable. I did some research and found out there is a need for services for animals with special needs. From that point on we took in/rescued/fostered as many special needs animals as we could, but we needed more income to do this work. Hence, WoofPack Pet Services was born! Being able to provide services for animals of all kinds to help support special needs animal rescue is why I wake up in the morning. It's my life's calling and I enjoy nothing more in this world!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, I will schedule a meet&greet with the client and their pet(s) before most services are scheduled, with the exception being bathing and light grooming services unless the client request so. This allows the pet to get to know me before I come back to provide services. I will also discuss the client's preferences, instructions, special requests, and get to know the client and pet(s).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up spending much time with my aunts, who have their own grooming shop out of their home for the last 50 years. They also have been rescuing animals my whole life, and they taught me everything I know about animal rescue and pet services. As an adult, my husband and our children started a special needs animal sanctuary out of our home several years ago. To help support that, we started WoofPack Pet Services since I have a lifetime of experience working with animals. I specialize in animals with behavior difficulties and special needs.
