When Shannon arrived she was very understanding about having to write things down so my Deaf wife could understand what was happening and what could or could not be done. Lena, my wife's puppy, seemed to trust Shannon immediately. Shannon and her assistant were excellent with the puppy constantly give the puppy praise and making sure the puppy was being treated like the special puppy she is. My wife and I will be using Shannon to groom Lena again.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Ask questions about the animal if they have been told by previous groomers of any issues. For example if they don’t like their paws being touched or they don’t like baths etc. what they look for in a groomer and what they would expect out of me.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have three years grooming experience and well over 10 years experience working with all types of animals as small as hampsters to as big as horses.

How did you get started in this business?

I grew up with animals of all kinds and I always knew I wanted to have animals of my own one day. I wanted to help animals in anyway I could. Now I not only have my own personal animals but I get to love and spoil my clients as well.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I built up my clientele enough that I finally got to open up my own grooming salon!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Please understand things are crazy with Covid. We are all trying our best and we will try to work with you on prices as much as possible but we can only help so much.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Wether or not they need a hair cut. Have you brushed your dog recently? Or are they extremely matted? Have you cut their nails recently?
