I love having these animals come in and growing a relationship with them. Watching these dogs come in terrified and after some time and patience theyre so happy to see me. Really makes me feel wonderful about the work I do!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gather all information we can about the pet. Fill out some paper work, be sure we have rabies information. Then speak with the client about their expectations for their appointment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have eight years grooming experience and well over 10 years experience working with all types of animals as small as hampsters to as big as horses.
How did you get started in this business?
I grew up with animals of all kinds and I always knew I wanted to have animals of my own one day. I have dipped into a little bit of everything over the years. But then I saw how the grooming world was lacking love, compassion, and patience. I then knew what I was meant to do.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Please understand things are crazy with Covid. We are all trying our best and we will try to work with you on prices as much as possible but we can only help so much.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Wether or not they need a hair cut. Often times clients have long haired dogs and they think they just need a bath when truth be told they need to be shaved due to matting. Just because a dog does not have large knots of hair doesnt mean they are not matted. Are you prepared to have your dog shaved? Can you afford to stay on a grooming schedule? Has your dog ever been groomed before? Is your pet up to date on their rabies vaccinations?
