I have been dog sitting since about 2003, and loving every minute of it. I meet fun dogs and great owners!
I treat the dogs the same way the owner does. So, if the dog sleeps with the owner, then it sleeps with me! I'm very sensitive to the dog's anxiety over being in a new home with a stranger and my dogs. I do my best to reassure and calm the dog and owner.
I'm a member of 3 dog clubs, and an AKC Breeder of Merit with my Havanese. I love how my dogs interact so well with the 'guests'!
Owners are invited to visit prior to drop off in order to meet me and my dogs, and to discuss any concerns. I am able to give medication and any other specialized treatment needed.
