Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to get together with customers. I will either go to their residence or they can meet me at one of my many offices in Connecticut.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)is the highest achievement designation within the Realtor community. My training courses over the years with CRS include merchandising my listings to get the highest and best return for sellers, Investment strategies learning how to calculate if a certain property or properties are economically viable.
Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) - educated me further on what all buyers need to know before they eveh begin their search. My buyer presentation for all of my buyers is 30 minutes not including time for Q&A.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing proposals are based on Closed properties in the last 90 days that are like-kind to subject. Any differences I make adjustments.
How did you get started in this business?
At the age of 19 I took the Real Estate exam because my father wanted me to be in the insurance business and at the time that did not interest me. I worked full time and bought my first house at the age of 19. Sold it in 6 months for a profit and bought another house. Sold that in a year and built another house. I was flipping before the word flip was invented in Real Estate.
What types of customers have you worked with?
First time buyers, Professional Athletes, Entertainers and Executives.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure the customer is protected before they buy or sell.
Get an agent that will level with you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Get the agents production and read through their testimonials or for me "Raving Fans"
