I price per day. Or by job setting, and skill set, needed to complete job. Most job require multiple trades so it entails different pricing as it takes for supply. And labor. Time and materials basically.
How did you get started in this business?
In 1980. Started working with a general contractor ,part time. Took electrical trade at Medford voc tech. Grad 1984. Continued electrical..then moved into blueboarding commercial buildings. And metal framing. Joined U.S.Marines in 87-91. Continued with uncle in flooring trade for 14 yrs installing carpets ,linoleum. Vct tile , ceramic tile. , I cont, to work in carpentry trades as carpenter. Rough framing and finish. Roofing. Decking and masonry ,paver walkways. Patios. Foundation repair. .I fully gut and remodel kitchens and baths , install windows. Paint homes ext /int. I continue to build the business into more projects. . So it keeps growing.
