FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I loke to have an initial meeting with a client to see what their specific needs are. I determine the best way they like to stay in touch, whether phone, text, email, etc. I set them up with an automatic home search that gives them the latest homes on the market daily for their target areas. I also have informational documents that fully explain each step of the buying or selling process.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have my Massachusetts real estate license since 2009. I have also owned residential rental property both in MA and in FL for many years.

I also work with my brother, who is a real estate attorney and the broker owner of our company. His advice gives instant answers to any intricate problems that might arise during a transaction.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

All home pricing is based on the last 6 months of current sales. When calculating a market analysis for a home, I use homes that are most similar to the one we are working on to see what the most realistic pricing would be.

How did you get started in this business?

After returning from living in Florida, my brother decided to open a real estate company. He had seen many bad deals cross his desk as a real estate attorney and thought he could offer better opportunities for clients to be better protected legally. I returned specifically to help him start this business, having had many years in real estate doing property management for my own rental properties.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with every age range, in every price range from low to million dollar sales. While I am based in the Stoughton. Canton area, I have had home sales within the entire 495 belt, from Westford, to Worcester and as far south as Fall River.

Describe a recent project you are fond of.

I recently helped a Senior, who has become a friend, downsize out of a home that had too many steps for her and the property was too large to maintain. It has made her life easier and much less stressful.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

You should interview several real estate agents. See what tyoe of experience they have and if they can work within the market you are looking at. Most importantly, as this is a long term transaction, make sure your personalities work well with one another.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Know what you are pre-approved for financially and what you can realistically afford. Once you are comfortable with what you can spend, then consider the areas you may want to live in. Look at commuting time, schools, the type of lifestyle you like to lead and select communties that have those.
