Regardless of what's in fashion, your home should look like YOU and fit how you live and what you love. I will help you create a home that is uniquely you. Maximizing the space you have, making the most of the the furnishings you already own (if you love them!) and recommending ideal additions. The result will be a place you love, where your heart feels fully at home.
I especially love working with people who are beginning a new chapter. The newly single, couples combining households, growing families, empty nesters...
During major transitions, recreating home can be challenging. Just when we need a firm foundation the most, "Home" may feel uncertain, vulnerable, and overwhelming.
I help people reimagine and redesign home so that it fits who they are now -- and allows space to grow into the future they long to create for themselves. With compassion, patience, resourcefulness, and gentle attention.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In your initial design session (2.5 hours) we will:
• Clarify your ultimate big-picture goals for your home: feeling, function and fashion
• Maximize what you currently have to immediately increase livability
• Determine furnishings you wish to buy – plus my recommendations
• Evaluate your budget – both in terms of time and money
• Create an action plan
These are some of the topics we discuss:
– How do you (and your family) live?
– What is not working well for you in the current set-up of your home?
– What is most important to you?
– What do you love to do?
– What styles and colors feel like “home” for you (and your partner.)
The session includes follow-up resources for next steps as determined during our time together. Usually that means an additional 15 minute phone call &/or an email with link to promised resources and referrals. Afterwards I provide a proposal for additional design services as needed to help you create a home that and you will thoroughly enjoy. The proposal outlines your project goals, the steps to accomplish them, a timeline, and the services (and referrals) that I will provide.
