Burns does residential and light commercial services, panel upgrades, house wiring, fixture, switch and receptacle repalcements. M.W. Burns does catv wiring, data and low voltage. We do roof cables, outside lamps, postlights and ground lighting.
M.W. Burns does new and rehab work.
We replace knob/tube wiring and upgrade to code.
M.W. Burns was established 50 yrs ago.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Attain a complete quote from the electrical contractor, make sure no hidden prices that will double when cntractor is complete. Ask for references and clients.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Have exactly the job you need completed. If plumbing, ac or structural work is involved, have that completed first. Have all trades confirm with each other what time frame is required.
