Hello all, my name is Dakota. I am doing a pet sitting and pet boarding side gig for some extra cash for Christmas to help out my family. I have experience with ALL animals from barn animals to birds and reptiles. I grew up around big dogs my entire life and many cats such as Bengals. I am a very reliable 18 year old, non smoker, I also have a clean driving record with an insured car. I would love to watch your pet(s) either in your home or in mine, whichever is easiest and most convenient for you!
I enjoy helping families with loving care for their pets while they're away for any reason or to even watch their pets while at work. It can be stressful to find pet sitters or pet boarding places that is A) affordable and B) trustworthy. I love to show my clients that I treat their fur babies as if they were my own

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process will be a few steps.
step 1 - Gather information about the owner and pet(s): I would like to know a descriptive daily routine of your pets everyday life such as feeding schedule, walking/potty schedule, medicines (if needed), and do's/don'ts with your pet (ie: no belly rubs;no playing after eating). Step 2 - Meeting the owner and pet(s): this step is important in my opinion and very straightforward, just to make sure the pet enjoys my company and doesn't feel threatened by me. Step 3 - setting times/days for pet sitting or boarding: This step is to actually start visiting with your fur babies!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an early graduate from an online high school (VLACS) and during that, I did volunteer work at the MSPCA in Methuen and Merrimack Vetinary Hostipal.

How did you get started in this business?
I got started by simply watching and boarding family pets and gradually started doing the same for friends. I realized how much I loved it and wanted to continue
