We provide dog training and behavior modification services in Louisville, KY as well as pet sitting and dog walking services in Louisville, KY. We use Positive Reinforcement training and handling methods based on scientific studies of dog and cat behavior. Every dog and cat deserves to be treated with respect and compassion. Their behavior is based on their experiences, whether positive, negative or neutral. Living with humans can be challenging for our pets as they are often forced to endure things they would not choose for themselves. By learning what they need to be happy and understanding what motivates them, we can help create amazing relationships that strengthen our bond and enriches their lives. Dogs and cats do what is reinforcing. Our goal is to shape their behavior by reinforcing and creating value for the behaviors we desire.

How did you get started in this business?
I received my B.S. degree in Animal Science, volunteered at a municipal shelter for 4 years and realized I could help people with their pet's behavior problems. My goal is to reduce the number of animals the end up in shelters due to behavior issues.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Fear, aggression, puppies, basic manners, reactivity, door manners, loose leash walking, mat training, recalls, etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hire a trainer that uses positive reinforcement to teach the dog what to do rather than correction or punishment based on force and intimidation
