Who takes care of your farm when you travel?
Don’t let the name fool you. Not only do we work with dogs and cats, but we also care for livestock, horses, backyard chickens, and even muck stalls when necessary.
That I am a professional who is bonded and insured. I enjoy providing a home environment instead of a noisy kennel for daycare and boardings.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Any behavioral issues, fear reactive, fear aggression, anxiety, territorial, food aggression, etc. We need to know these things in order to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your pet/pets and us.
2. Vaccination records
We want to keep the boarding as safe and healthy an environment as possible, so we need to know your pet is up to date on all their vaccinations.
3. Medical history information
We’ll need any and all relevant medical information for your pet (past health issues, medications, allergies, behavioral issues, etc.). This way, if a problem does arise, we can make sure to give your pet the best and most informed care possible, as quickly as possible.
4. Any required medications
This includes detailed instructions on when and how to administer them. If your pet needs any type of regular medication, we need to know their schedule and the best way to administer any pills, treatments, etc. for their health and comfort.
5. Any special foods or dietary limitations
If you plan on leaving special foods for your pet, they should preferably be packaged and dropped off with them in a resealable container. We feed all of our board pets on regular schedules throughout the day, but if your pet requires any particular measures, let us know.
6. A favorite toy or other items from home
We provide, daily exercise, and playtime, but your pet may still want to have a familiar and well-loved toy with them during their stay. We’ll work hard to keep your pet as happy and comfortable as possible, but they may feel better with their favorite blanket, stuffed animal, or squeaky toy along for company.
7. Anything else your pet might require while you’re gone
This includes certain treats, rawhides, detailed instructions on their personal schedule (bathroom, walk times, etc.), notes on behavior, or a pre-recorded video message for them to watch while you’re away.
No breed restrictions and I love all breeds! We will even care for small animals and reptiles.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started in this business?
Ravens K9 to 5 Pet Services started as a personal vision and has provided me with the opportunity to fulfill my passion of working with animals.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our customers range from nurses, lawyers, out of towner's, vacationers, business professionals and even people just looking to get away for a weekend. We are 24 hours and we work with a variety of different schedules. Nurses love us because we don't mind them dropping off their pup at 6am or sometimes earlier. And we don't mind them picking up at 9 or 10pm at night. We're here to make your life easier and your pup happy.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Worked for a couple with a fear reactive St. Bernard. We met two times before house sitting for them and by the end of the last visit he was comfortable with us and even let us pet him.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A pet care provider should be a professional and their business is their career. We who are professional are not the person next door, or the college student home for the summer looking to make extra money. Look at their experience/training, are they bonded/insured, are they involved in animal organizations. Not all pet sitters are created equal! Professional pet sitters will send updates from each visit, along with photos or video, to verify if visits have been completed and to also notify pet owners of any concerns with the pet’s health or behavior. Our booking software also includes gps tracking as well. I myself helped a current client catch a uti in the beginning stages for their pup. I posted a screenshot in photos for you to see.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are their needs for pet care while they are gone? What are the needs of the pet? What are the qualities are they looking for in a pet sitter/dog walker? What is their budget?
