At The Dirty Dog Pet Services, our focus is always on best interest for the pets in our care. This includes all of our many services; doggie daycare, lodging (boarding), grooming, training, pet sitting, shuttle services, nutrition consultation, cat and small animal services, and many more. While we are a large facility with many moving parts, we operate with a small business feel that you will not find on a corporate level to match our own size and extensive offerings.
I love that I (and my incredible team of pet lovers) are able to provide the ultimate pet care experience. We love helping pets who are nervous, afraid, or have been thru trauma elsewhere before coming to Dirty Dog. My team and I give back to our community through outreach employment programs and aiding several rescue organizations in the Topeka area by providing much needed care for their pets - entirely free of charge.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your dog is more than just a pet: They’re your loyal companion and your best bud. Choosing where to leave your fur baby when you’re not available is a big decision, but the team at The Dirty Dog is the one you can trust. Whether it’s grooming, daycare, or boarding, we believe in treating your little one with as much love and attention as we would our own.
We take our time with each pet to ensure they are comfortable, confident, happy, and safe from start to finish. We don't charge for extra time when they come in to the salon, because we want to get to know them and make their groom a positive experience each and every time. Grooming services should NEVER be scary, and it's OUR job to show them that it can be enjoyable and relaxing.
For playgroup: We place each pet into a play group designed specifically for their personality, size, and temperament. The dogs are closely supervised and encouraged with positive reinforcement at all times, so you can go about your day with peace of mind. With both indoor and outdoor play areas, our space is safe, secure, and the perfect place to relax or socialize.
