Providing the best hygienic care possible while educating on proper grooming “at home” techniques is my goal as your groomer. I’d like you to take home as much as possible out if the sessions with less stress...and less hair.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I require potential new clients to book a consultation online. This gives me most of the information I need upfront to have a successful consultation without the rush and unpreparedness of a walk in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years experience handling and caring for animals, from large animals and livestock to reptiles and arachnids.
I have experience working along side some of the top dog trainers in the nation, working in the vet field (Certified Veterinarian Assistant through Animal Behavior College) and have been dog sitting and dog walking since I was 7 years old. (Certified Pet Sitting and Dog Walking through Animal Behavior College).
At present, I am working to achieve my certification for Pet Aesthetician through Pet Skin Academy with IV San Bernard.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Rates fluctuate according to the pet’s weight, body condition, the coat type/condition and behavior. Generally prices are (average cost of over head per pet) + (rate per hour/labor)
Factors that will affect price
~Overweight/obesity (I.e. 90lbs lean and in shape is an easier procedure for 90lbs that is obese and handicapped)
~bodily deformities that directly impact the pets ability to participate in the grooming procedure
~ over due coats that are impacted, tangled, or matted take extra time, work and product to restore to a healthy status. This includes the state of the skin as well. Some coat types don’t need as much product while others need more to stay healthy and functional.
~Lack of adequate socialization/exposure. Pets that aren’t exposed to the stimuli of a grooming procedure at a very young age, or aren’t groomed regularly, generally don’t handle being groomed very well, and need extra time to work through the scary parts.
How did you get started in this business?
After working for other assembly line shops, I wanted to redefine what pet grooming should be: quality, not quantity. The focus should be each individual dog and its coat needs in order to look, feel and be healthy.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all kinds of customers, however, I do not tolerate disregard for my business policies, verbal abuse or those that have been banned for hurting another small business in any way.
