I just love being around animals and people who love them! I have been a stylist for pets (even large animals!) For 24 years and in the veterinary field for 12 years! I’m always looking for new ways to better my knowledge of animals and better my craft:) I work a lot with rescue animals so my soft spot is troubled cases or pets who have special needs with grooming :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always set aside time for new clients and pet parents! We enjoy sitting down and meeting everyone prior to starting. We look over your pets coat/skin condition, temperament, as well as any health concerns we should be awere of. Plus it's a great opportunity for us to meet and get to know eachother more, we want everyone to feel comfortable when they are leaving their baby in our care.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a certified pet stylist for 24 years and a master groomer for 10. I have attended many seminars and classes over my years to keep up with new techniques and changes to the industry. I am animal first aid certified as well as a licensed veterinary technician which I still am on call at a local ER clinic. My love for all things animals has also led me to my certification in dog behavior which helps me in every aspect of my craft!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing is based on the pets size, coat condition and temperament of the pet. We have a base price for all of our grooms but, in order to give the best quote we would need to meet your pet:)
How did you get started in this business?
My love for Animals at a very young age fueled my drive to help animals any way I could. I started working in animal rescue at age 12 and to this day I am a huge advocate!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would always always always advise a client to speak with a few stylists in the area or even set up a consult to meet them, make sure they have some platform where you can see their work and what other customers have to say about them. Any reputable salon should require up to date vaccines and have a staff who is very knowledgeable and caring. If you ever have doubt walk on out-
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I think it's very important for clients to seek out a stylist who will meet their specific needs and are comfortable with them! There are many amazing pet stylist in our area all with unique and vast understanding of the industry I think it's very important to have a great relationship with your stylists so you feel comfortable leaving your pet! Our pets will feed off our energy and if you're not comfortable they arnt eaither!
