R&R K9 Services
About
R&R K9 Services is an organization founded by 3 hardworking people with a goal to mainly help those who need help training their own service dogs. We help the whole process along from helping you find a puppy to guiding you through the training. We offer low cost options to those on disability/SSI or with low income with verifiable proof. We also specialize in obedience training and behavior modification services.
I love helping families come together by having the best behaved canine they can! There's nothing more special than the love between a family and their dog. The love that comes from a well trained dog is so monumental and unique and I hope that everyone gets to experience that.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a customer, we do an initial session with your dog where we do a proper introduction to let your dog get to know us, and where we do a lot of observation. That allows us to know what we need to work on with both you and your dog.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our cofounders and head trainers have over 20 years of experience training dogs, horses, cows, cats, and other animals between them. They've also been formally educated by companies including K9-1, K9 Heeling, and Puppy University. Rebecca apprenticed under Professional trainer Mitch Fletcher of K9 Heeling for 3 years to gain a more thorough understanding of canines and their behavior. Rebecca and Rue also heavily studied trainer Michael Debruzo. Rebecca studied biology in college to understand why animals work and behave the way they do psychologically, genetically, and physiologically.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We have a 3 tier pricing system that people are free to take advantage of. If you provide proof of income, we adjust our prices based on your income based on our income brackets. People who make less get to pay less.
How did you get started in this business?
Rue and Rebecca met as mutual service dog handlers. Both having a strong love for service dogs and training, they discussed training as a possible business venture. When the opportunity presented itself, they decided it was time to start training together as a team once Rebecca moved to Indiana from the East Coast.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Please thoroughly check to make sure you're leaving your dog with a safe trainer if you do a board and train. So many people neglect animals.
