The Wright Real Estate Group Of Keller Williams Premiere Properties
About
With a combination of construction and real estate backgrounds we can help sellers identify possible improvements to make or inspection issues. In the same way, we assist buyers by seeing items that a normal Realtor will not be able to spot, thus helping our clients to either avoid a potential problem or negotiate a better deal for them

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For a first time home buyer, we like to do a buyer consultation first prior to taking a client out to see homes. We explain the home buying process and what they can expect.
For a seller, we want to have an initial interview at the property to see if we are a good fit for each other, and to get the initial assessment of your home
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified Real Estate Probate Expert designation
12 years of experience, including numerous training courses on valuation of properties
How did you get started in this business?
Left the construction business and jumped into the real estate market in April 2007. My wife said for years that I would be a great Realtor, and turns out she was spot on
What types of customers have you worked with?
I worked with all kinds of clients and in all areas. I do not "cherry pick". Whether it be with banks selling REO properties, helping a seller out of a distressed short sale situation, a first time home buyer who can afford a $140,000 home, or an established seller looking to sell and move to a new location I can and have handled it all. I have sold homes in 143 towns throughout the Chicago area and have successfully closed over 1,200 real estate transactions representing buyers and sellers
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Currently listed a home for a client that bought from me three years ago. They thought their home was worth about 7% less than what I believed it was worth. Marketed the home for ten days prior to putting on market and put it under contract in just one day at where I believed it was worth
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Not only ask them about their experience, ask them who they would recommend for lenders, attorneys, contractors, etc. A good experienced Realtor will have these answers ready at a moments notice
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
For Sellers, am I ready for the inconvenience of having the home spotless and "magazine cover" ready for the time it takes to sell the home?
For Buyers, what can I live with when buying a home. There are no perfect homes, and the home inspector will always find something. It is their job. A seller is not under any obligation to fix the items on a home inspection list. A buyer should know this going in. If the item is not a life safety issue, will that be ok with you as the buyer.
