What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types of clients, from first time buyer to a seasoned investors
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We inspected a bank owned property that was sold "AS IS". The clients were first time home buyers and their agent persuaded them to get an inspection anyway. During our inspection we discovered a stray cat living in the attic. The cat had used the attic as it's shelter and litter box. Making the entire attic a health risk and the home inhabitable. So the bank was forced to have hired a proffesional to disinfect and install new insulation through out, along with repairing the openng in the attic.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Know what an inspector/inspection does. Ask or view samples of past reports to see if you (the Client) can comperhend the report. It is counter productive, if the client will need someone else to explain the report. The Inspector should be able to explain all the issues in plain english. Have a realistic approch to the proccess. Do not get scared with all of the negative issues that will be discovered.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask as much as you want. the pros are there to guide you.
