Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each and every customer is different. To begin I definitely love to hear about your fur baby! The age, size, type of breed is always a start. I'm very flexible with price range so I usually work with what you are most comfortable with paying. Also he frequency you would like your dog walked.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I previously have worked for wag but feel that sometimes it's a bit pricey. I was a customer and a worke. Being a worker there you are required to complete orientation and a certificate for dog walking. I'm very familiar with all types of harnesses as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$20.00-$40.00 per hour- rates very based on travel and frequency. The more I walk, the cheaper the rates :)
How did you get started in this business?
I've always had dogs my entire life. I love each and every dog and I've decided to start my own side hustle doing what I absolutely love.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Every different type. as state department before I am very flexible and easy going. I like helping others take care of their dogs to ensure they get their daily exercise!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our neighborhood has a page that we post if we see dangerous wildlife or a lost puppy or cat. I recently found a young pup and the owner came and picked her up. I always love looking out for any animal and making sure they are safe.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Honestly feel comfortable in who you hire. I know my dog is my child and I wouldn't want someone to watch him if I felt they thought he was anything less. Also someone who is flexible and knows how to handle any type of dog.
