I am a certified dog/cat groomer. I am also animal CPR certified incase of emergencies. I groom out of my home in Lockport so I am much cheaper than going to a salon. My prices start at 30$. I have been working as a groomer for 5 years now, give me a shot you won't be disappointed! I'd love to meet your furry babies. 😊

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new client contacts me, I first ask them the breed of dog they have and their temperament. So we can mutually decide on the best route of taking care of their pets. If they are comfortable we set up an appointment. At the appointment I get some contact information from the owner, then we discuss the exact haircut they would like. After the owner leave I will contact the owner about 20 minutes before I am done so their pet does not have to stay any longer than needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified with 500 hours of pet grooming.
I am animal CPR certified.
7 years of experience working with animals.
5 years grooming them.
I have worked out of shops as well as at
home for the total 5 years.
I have also volunteered with Joliet animal control and cache creek animal shelter.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a company in your area of expertise?
I would highly recommend contacting me for a quote before going to a shop, I'm usually about half the price of petco/pets mart, and people usually have no idea !
What questions should customers think through before talking to companies about their needs?
I like grooming out of home because I am not doing more than one pet at a time. Most salons have 10+ animals sitting in cages waiting for half of the time they are there waiting to get their hair cut. It is much much less stressful on your pet and you when I am doing just your dog, getting him/her in and out so they can go home where they are most comfortable.
