Purrfurred Pet Styling - Mobile & Shop Grooming

We are Naperville's premiere pet grooming service providing BOTH high quality mobile and salon pet grooming services while building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets.

With our shop service, we try to make the grooming experience as painless as possible and schedule our appointments so that we can get your pet in and out as quickly as possible. This way your pet won't have to stay at the groomers all day like many other traditional grooming shops.

With our mobile service, you get the additional benefits of one-on-one attention from our talented groomers. Your pet avoids the stress of traveling in a car and you don't need to take time from your busy schedule to drop off and pick up your pet like you would from a traditional salon. Additionally, your pet is never confined to a cage or kennel, and there is no exposure to other dogs, diseases, or parasites.

Our History:

Jason & Sarah Ray started PurrFurred Pet Styling in June of 2006. When we started the business, Sarah was the only pet stylist and working part-time. Within 6 months of opening, Sarah moved to doing mobile grooming full-time for PurrFurred Pet Styling.

By 2008, we were so busy that we decided to purchase our 2nd grooming van...right before the recession hit. Ouch! By God’s grace, our business continued to grow year after year throughout the recession, albeit a little slower than before.

In 2011, as we came out of the recession we decided to maintain the current size of our business at 2 grooming vans as we started our family. In April of 2011, we welcomed our son Corbin in this world. Then two years later in February of 2013, our daughter Addie was born. During these years we turned our attention to the balance of raising a family and running a business.

In October of 2013 we pushed forward and added our 3rd grooming van which took off so quickly that added our 4th grooming van less than a year later in 2014.

In 2015, with 4 grooming vans we had outgrown our home based business, and needed to move the business and our vans to a commercial location. In September 2015, we did just that and opened our Naperville salon. This location not only served as a base of operations for our mobile units, but also allow us to expand our services so that we could offer a more traditional grooming option to customers who may not be interested in the added cost of mobile grooming.

Sarah has loved animals her whole life. She was trained and certified at the Great Lakes Academy of Pet Styling in 2001 and has been grooming ever since.

Prior to grooming, she worked as a Veterinary Assistant and Technician for 2 years and was trained in animal CPR and other various medical procedures.

Sarah enjoys grooming competitively, and has won several awards for her grooming including "Best In Show"
