What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always start a new pet grooming or daycare relationship with one-on-one, hands on, "getting to know you and your pet" sessions between owner/award winning Master Groomer Jennifer and you and your pet. We do want all HomeGuide clients to know that because there are so many variables in a cat or dog’s groom and appointment scheduling also has an incredible number of variables, we cannot use this HomeGuide medium to set appointments and quote prices. New clients seeking our services must call us to discuss price and set appointments. Please call us as the next step in the process! 847-LUV-DOGS
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Jennifer was one of the first few Master Groomers in this nation. She has over four decades of grooming, training, breeding, and showing experience in several breeds of both dogs and cats. Jennifer is a sought-after speaker in national grooming conferences and was named Best Groomer in Chicagoland by the Chicago Tribune.

Our prices are very competitive and are based on the time each groom takes. We will always give you price and options at our first meeting. The price is determined by the size, coat, and condition of the pet.
How did you get started in this business?
Jennifer and her family love animals! This family owned business was a dream to fulfill and pass on to the next generation. Jennifer got started in the 1980’s when she fell in love with dog shows, and started showing, breeding and grooming show dogs.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types of pets and pet families have graced our business. We are known for taking those pet special needs that few others can handle. We allow owners to accompany their pets for the entire groom, for example. We attract a very diverse clientele because of our expertise in all breeds and coat types.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk to the owner of any pet business you are entrusting your beloved family member to. Do they have the expertise? The best in cutting edge equipment and products? Do they welcome you to stay for the entire groom as we do? Do they let you freely inspect their facilities as we do?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Tell your pet professional about your individual pet's needs and health and personality. Grooms and daycare should cater to your pet individually!
