About
I pride myself on my intrapersonal skills; in creating a relaxed, collaborative environment for my clients. My design work is "ego free"! I do not preach a "one-design-fits-all" gospel. My goal each and everytime is to leave my clients with a cohesive design that perfectly suits their needs, personal stlye, and budget. I consider myself exteremly fortunate to love what I love for a living! I look forward to meeting my next client and share with them my passion!
Design challenges! I love it when a client says that they've never been able to figure out how to use a particular space, or that they never use a certain room, as it's not comfortable or functional. I make it a personal goal to change their perceptions and perspective about these spaces. I love hearing clients say "I would never have thought to do it that way!"

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process begins with a consultation with a perspective client. I typically don't assign a timeframe to this intitial meeting. It is more a opportunity for us to chat and get a little better acquainted. During this time we would discuss client design needs, expectations, budget etc. I always like to layout a potential plan for the client's project(s)as well. Clients receive a followup email, with an overview of the topics discussed at the consultation. I find this helpful in organizing a client's thoughts and priorities.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught, avid disciple of design, in a multitude of forms. I started my career in visual design and merchandising for venerated giants, Ralp Lauren and Brooks Brothers. After departing the corporate world I went into business for myself, opening a 6000 sq ft seasonally themed gift store called Seasons Remembered, located in tourist mecca Galena IL. Since, I have continued my work in commercial and residential interior design.
