IDe-Ideal Design Elements
About
My work ethics and passion for design help to insure you are hiring a very honest and hard-working designer. One of my best talents is that I’m very creative, and have an ability to see beyond an existing space and create a new updated, and very aesthetic environment. It’s also important for me to create a space that reflects the home and it’s character/style. I’ve had both commercial and residential design experience, and one attribute is to create a very free-flowing design space and layout, uncluttered, incorporating latest trends and very tasteful furnishings.
Design has always been a “passion” of mine, as long as I can remember. So, because of that, I feel it helps enable me to provide the tools and ability to create the best overall design for each and every client. The best part is to see the end result! Interior Design can be hard work/challenging, depending on scope of work, but I can honestly say I love going through all the motions and process until the project is completed, and seeing that END RESULT!

How did you get started in this business?
After graduating with an Interior Design degree, I first worked in the commercial end of design, with a couple major companies; designing and space planning offices, and some commercial businesses. In 2012 I realized I had staged all my own homes to sell, all at different economic times, and ALL SOLD within one week. It was at this discovery of realizing there is a business of staging homes, I decided to get an accreditation for Home staging, which also allowed me some flexibility with my schedule and raising a family.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Both commercial and residential. Commercial early on in my career and residential most recently.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Staged a vacant and neglected home for sale, did some remodeling/updating as well, and this home sold within a couple of days.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone suitable to your tastes, ethics and someone who you can rely on to start & finish work from beginning to end.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Must be willing to pay for their Fees, as it can be very time consuming and creative work for the pro. It’s very fair to pay them for the work they provide.
