OUR HISTORY In 1950 Ed Meyer Jr. and Gayle Meyer purchased a one-room house on four acres of land on 47 Street in Moline, Illinois. The first items sold were wreaths and grave blankets.

In the mid 1970’s, sons Kurt and Jack Meyer, entered the family business. Soon a 140-acre farm was purchased in Andalusia, Illinois becoming the Meyer Growing Division.

In 1988 the Moline office expanded to include six landscape designers. The business was becoming the largest nursery and landscape company in the Quad Cities.

Today, Meyer Landscape & Design employees over 40 talented team members. They work within a 60 mile radius of the Quad Cities servicing commercial and residential customers.
