Dana grew up in the southwest surrounded by mountains and cacti and has been living in the city of Chicago for the past 9+ years. Many of her design choices are influenced by the parallels and differences between the two landscapes.

Her design philosophy can be summarized in three words - lucent, ludic, lagom.

lucent (adj.) softly bright or radiant

ludic (adj.) full of fun and high spirits

lagom (adj.) Not too little, not too much. Just right.

I love that in this industry I get to use both the right and left sides of my brain but at the end of the day, developing relationships with clients and working with them to turn their vision into reality is why I wake up excited to bring my all to work everyday.

Dana is amazing to work with. She is professional and highly organized. She has a great eye and has already made several contributions that has transformed our apartment in Chicago, working within a strict budget. So far we have worked on installing a barn door over the bedroom doorway, kitchen island, and upgrading our back splash. There are other projects we intend to work with her on in the future (upgrading: kitchen cabinets, counter tops, kitchen appliances, closet doors, and wood floors). She will also be assisting us with decorating the kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. We are already very happy with her service.

Dana was honestly a lifesaver. It was my first time working with a designer so I wasnt sure what to expect and on top of that, I was in St. Louis with family during the first phase of the project so I could only communicate with Dana over the phone and email. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Dana was highly professional and organized right from the start. She understood my vision for my new condo from the start and the finished project surpassed my expectations. Dana made the entire process stress-free. The design and layout of my condo function so well for my lifestyle and we were able to keep the cost down while still finding quality pieces.

Dana took such care in curating our new home. We had originally planned on using her for space planning but quickly realized that her expertise could be used across the board. She provided furniture, accessory and art selections that perfectly reflected my husband and my personality and style. She also helped us stick to our budget by re-purposing pieces we thought wed have to toss and then finding us awesome staple new pieces to add to our new home.
