Working with clients and their animals for over 45 years, I have the knowledge, experience, patience and gifts God has Blessed me with to deal with all sorts of animals problems, issues, behavior modification, obedience training and other areas.

I am a Licensed and Certified Animal Behavioral Specialist. Currently covering 42 States,..I train animals of all kinds and work with them one-on-one with their owners in their own surroundings. I provide K-9 training of all kinds -- Nutrition, Basic and Advanced Obedience, ADI, SAR, AKC-CGC Star Puppy, Community Canine, and Urban CGC animal behavioral training -- I am a Certified Evaluator. I do Service and Therapy work, trouble issues and guard/protection, etc.

I also offer horse training and equine therapy. I work with special-needs adults and children. I also house-sit/pet sit when schedule permits depending on the frequency and amount offered for travel issues. Suzi not only knows the proper methods for training my dog but also understands what is in my dog’s head. She knows “dog psychology”. This also helped me to correct the errors I was making in trying to train her. I highly recommend Suzi with no reservations.

We found Susie through HomeGuide and are so happy that we did. She is absolutely amazing. We have a 5 year old rescue bulldog/beagle and we were having trouble with her pulling hard on the leash and being very reactive to movement be it a squirrel, rabbit, a leaf blowing, etc. both on her walks, in our yard, and in the house. She would go into a frenzy at times yelping very loud and sounding like she was hurt. Susie came over and within an hours time was able to get our dog to sit, go down, wait, leave it, to look at you, and to not pull on the leash. She spent over three hours here working with our dog, going over nutrition, and giving us the advice and the tools we need to continue working with our dog. Our dog is much improved and it is a work in progress, but if we spend the time training her and being consistent we know that everything Susie showed us will work. Susie also followed up within 48 hours and we know that we can always call her and have her come for another visit. We are very glad that we did this and would not hesitate for a moment to recommend her to anyone. - Dave and Teresa Jackson

Nothing! I am not happy. I got my dog when he was 5 months old. He came with severe fear aggression. I was happy that Susan responded to my inquiry so quickly and made it seem like this was important to get under control right away. She came the next day which I really appreciated.

She proceeded to shock the shit out of my dog with a shock collar. Which was not what I was looking for! I could have done that myself. She shocked him so bad on the couch that he flew off and almost cracked his head on the coffee table. She then proceeded to train outside with a pocket full of chicken. OF COURSE HES GOING TO BE GLUED TO HER! She charged me almost 800.00 for 2 hours of nothing but shocking my dog. Again... I could have done that myself! She charged me 150.00 for shock collar and claimed the reason they are so cheap is because due to covid nobody is buying them. I later looked them up and found them for about thirty dollars! She charged me 15.00+ for a whistle that she claimed is different than any other whistle. My fault for believing that crap!

All in all... 800.00 wasted. She had ZERO control over my dog. (which again is why I hired a trainer) Oh also she charged for an exam. What a crock! All she did was listen to his heart with a stethoscope. LOL AFTER I TOLD HER HE WAS JUST AT THE VET AND WAS FINE!

I feel like I was scammed and would really like all of my money back! She did nothing to help his fear/anxiety. NOTHING BUT SCARE HIM HALF TO DEATH.

I had others trainers lined up. Yes... A little more money but not much... And they would have come once a week for 9 weeks. This one charges drive time and hourly AFTER the original 800.00 for 2 freaking hours. Never called to follow up. Never reached back out. Just got pissed when I asked why she charged so much for the collar. Wouldnt recommend to anyone! Absolutely horrible!

If I shocked her dog like she claimed,..why would she buy a shock collar? I specifically train to the beep and if a dog doesn't have a good response to hearing the beep, we have to go another route instead of the collar. She saw how everything works, including the whistle ...which is why she purchased what worked with her dog. May she be blessed anyway

Susie is amazing. We do have a smart dog, but she was masterful at teaching him, and she is so easy to work with. She tailors her training to the need of the client. Susan is a Dog Whisperer. My little adopted pup Augie was scared of just about everything. Cars, bridges, noises, shadows, bikes, the air, you name it he was scared of it. It gotten to the point he would not even want to go on walks and couldn’t leave my apartment block. I would have to carry him outside just so he could go to the bathroom. He had so much pent up energy that he was chewing through my place. I needed help fast! Susan came to my place and Augie immediately recognized there was a new alpha in the house and responded so positively to her. During the session we were able to walk farther on the block than we ever have. After the session I felt equipped with the tools to walk Augie so he and I tried to take a walk that evening and it all clicked. He was finally walking throughout the city. His fears definitely still creep out every now and then there but he’s slowly building his confidence and is so much happier. Thanks Susan, Augie and I are excited for many more sessions with you.
