What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically do a walkthrough of the project, go over all the clients needs/wants and I'll come up with idea's that will satisfy what they're thinking.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a member of SIMA, APLD, IPLCA and am a NCMA certified retaining wall installer. I've been in the industry for 14 years and there's no problem or solution that I haven't been able to solve.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are insured and be sure to sign a contract stating what they'll be doing, you never know what you might be getting without a detailed description of the project.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What their budget is and if they can afford it, a lot people don't realize the cost of landscaping projects and the last thing you want to do is waste your time and the time of a sales associate. Also if you have any idea's of what you want, photo's are very helpful.
