What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact the customer and address the plumbing concern they are having. Occasionally have them email me pictures, so I can possibly give a quote over the phone Schedule an appointment , ( same day in most cases) and after I diagnose the problem. I go over their options and pricing. I believe in upfront pricing and not selling the customer something they dont need ..I keep the customer informed along the way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Lowe's for pro's contractor with 23 years experience. I am licensed and insured..I am also certified in gas pipe installation and tankless water heater installation ..

Customer supplied electric hot water heater - $350
Gas line installation $425 for the first 25 ft.
Toilet installation 1toilet - $135 - $110 for each additional toilet ( customer supplied toilets)
Customer supplied tankless hot water heater.- $695.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked for.some big name companies and felt like they were taking advantage of customers who may or may not have any idea what they are actually being charged for and to try to change the perception of plumbers .We will never be rich, but we rest easy knowing we did what was right

What types of customers have you worked with?
Our customers are a biggest asset. We have built some lasting friendships with our customers..Had 1 or 2 that was a little hard to deal with in the beginning but as I convinced them to let me do the job I was able to ease there minds a started earning there trust. You have to listen to the home owners and let them know that you care .
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently did a rough in on a basement addition and installed a maceratng toilet . This was a first and really got an education on the whole macerating system, this is a perfect idea for someone that doesn't want to bust up concrete in a finished basement. It's been almost a year now and customer is still happy with his decision .
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions about your options and if there is an alternative approach for the repair. 70% of hot water heaters replaced.could.have been repaired savimg you hundreds And always ask what is included in the quote.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I don't expect people to know the aspects of plumbing. But it's helpful if you can take pictures of the problem area. This helps us give you a more accurate quote over the phone .
