We are a full service Pet Spa that offers premium-grooming services for dogs. Pups are kept by size in the grooming room and not crated all day. We use top of the line products such as Chris Christensen products that are used in competitive grooming and at dog shows. Everyone get a Blueberry facial, shampoo and conditioner (specific to their coat type), dremeled nails, ears flushed with witch hazel and aloe vera, hand towel dried and hand blown dried. We book by appoitments one week in advance, althoughwe do have cancellations from time to time and can take walk-ins.
Our pet stylist is a competitive groomer in addition to being a teacher of grooming techniques. We perform all breek standard trims from show trims to pet trims. We enjoy bringing out the best aesthitic characteristics in the pups by keeping up with the latest styles from updated breed profile trims to fun Asian fusion trims. We pride ourselves on offering the best grooming service for both the pup and their parents. We are happy to have the trust of local veterinarians that refer clients to us on a regular basis as well as retired groomers that send their clients to us.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like new customers to come in before their first appointment to meet the staff and we can meet their pup. This allows us to do a hands on interview with the pup to provide an accurate estimate of pricing by checking the conditions of the coat and temperament of the pup. It gives the customer a chance to provide information regarding any special needs, desired cuts and to see the shop before committing to grooming services. We require updated shot records specficially, rabies vaccination. Additionally, we request that all clients wait 24 to 48 hours after being vacccinated before coming in for service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout the year we attend continuing education by attending trade shows, webinars and dog shows. This allows us to stay abreast of all the latest techniques and products in the industry. Over the years standard breed profile cuts change and practices that were once commonplace are antiquated and may no longer be acceptable.

Since all pups are different pricing can change from pup to pup. However we provide a complete service and don't do many add ons. Every pup gets a Blueberry facial, shampoo and conditioner for their specific coat type, dremeled nails, is hand towel dried and hand blown dried. We then cut their hair according to breed standard or pet trim according to the parent's specification. As a result if you combine all the different add ons that other shops offer we are very competitive. We are not the lowest price point but not the highest.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of clientele are small and medium size dogs. We ork with all types of pups, however we are not able to work with breeds that have reputation of aggresion.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Customers should look for groomers/petstylists that particaipate in continuing education on a regular basis. It demostrates their commitment to the industry they have chosen to work in and keeps them on top of their game with the latest products and procedures in the industry.
