HearSpot Dog Boarding
About
Along with the .75 acres of property the dogs can run and play on, we have an air-conditioned/heated dog room, and we keep a larger doggie swimming pool open during the summer for a nice cool-off! All dogs that stay with us will be begging to come back!
I have 15+ years of experience working as a trainer/groomer, working with dogs is a true passion. I also provide one on one training for sessions for families that request it. {This is offered only to those who board with us} My husband and I love to hike and run and on occasion we will take our pack with us.
AS A BONUS: We generally bathe any fur-kids that stay with us prior to their going home.*schedule permitting* (this is a standard, not a rule) After a long trip, no one wants the hassle of dealing with a smelly/stinky doggie and we do everything we can to make this experience hassle free for you! :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We require a meet and greet before booking anyone with us as we need to make sure we are a good fit for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
15 years working with rescue, show, and training 2 therapy dogs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$25 for standard night
$36 a night for holidays
If the dog is special needs the rate will vary depending on the degree of the need.
How did you get started in this business?
I worked in a vet clinic for a while and saw many of the atrocities that happen behind closed doors. ie. sick dogs not getting cared for, being ignored, dogs sitting in their own filth all day, not being able to run around as much. etc. My experience drove me to begin boarding dogs out of my home.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Anyone who loves their dog. I will take special needs cases as well and can also administer shots/pills.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Work with someone who is knowledgable about pet care. If they don't have flea/tick prevention on their own pets, you don't want to leave your fur baby with them.
