What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask a series of questions regarding the customers safety, issues the veh is having, where the veh is located at and where the customer would like the veh towed to.
Based on this we can dispatch the right equipment, the closest technician and provide an accurate quote without any hidden fees!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our technicians are wreck-master certified, which is the top training agency in the US for Veh towing and roadside assistance! Additionally every spring all of our technicians travel to Orlando Florida for the Annual Florida Tow show and participate in all the continuing education training offered by manufacturers and top insurance providers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Based on the equipment needed and the distance the veh needs to be towed we have a flat rate pricing system we adhere to!
How did you get started in this business?
I've worked in the Automotive industry since high school. Starting at dealerships, then repair facilities and veh modification firms through college. After I completed my education from Macon State Uni, I was given the opportunity to join a company that provides veh transport services exclusively for Nalley and Henessey family of dealerships. This is where I got my expierence, training and the love for the towing/transport industry. Few years into that I decided to go out in my own and start my own towing company and started working with various repair shops and body shops in Atlanta. I was also contracted with AAA to provide roadside assistance. Fast forward 10 years and we have grown to a fleet of 5 tow trucks and 3 service vehicles.
What types of customers have you worked with?
private customers, folks that have found us on the internet with a roadside breakdown, major insurance providers, body shops, repair shops, veh manufacturers. Importers. Exporters.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Few weeks ago, we got a call from a very frantic customer who's car would not start. She had her entire family and the veh was in a low clearance parking garage. They were in town for a specialized doctors appointment and living on a fixed income. Customer advised us that she's called a few towing companies and they all told her 2-3 hours before they could come help and being in a parking structure and the fact she needed to be towed quite a distance they were giving her prices that were incredibly high!!! We dispatched a low clearance tow truck to her, got the veh out of the structure. Our technician spent a few minutes diagnosing the veh and figured out the issue, was able to find a solution to get them going in their own veh. We did not charge the customer anything wished them luck and went about our way. first week of March 2020 we received a huge flower arrangement and edible arrangement delivered to our office which was from that customer! She was so thankful and full of gratatuide for our services, and wanted to do something as soon as she was able to! Made our entire team feel good about the job we do on the road everyday!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always ask for hidden fees fuel surcharges, or additional equipment fees etc!!
also ALWAYS verify the provider you choose has valid insurance coverage that would cover your veh in the event of something catastrophic!!!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
If the "pro" thy are talking to has all valid business licenses and has authority to operate in Ga.
Again valid insurance coverage!
