What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our work starts with an initial consultaion (about an hour @$140). At consult we discuss possible training and management plans based on your goals. I follow up with a detailed email going over what we discussed in the consult and my training plan designed for your dog and lifestyle, environment, goals etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years expereince in the field. Recently attended the Dog Training Internship Academy founded by Janice Bradley.

How did you get started in this business?
Starting R+ training journey 15 years ago with my own leash reactive 60 lb pit bull. Before that was a professional dog walker in SF.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
2 questions to ask any dog trainer:
#1 what happenes to my dog when/if they "get it right"?
(correct answer: the dog gets reinforced immediatey with something they really like)
#2 what happens to my dog when/if they "get it wrong"?
(correct answer: nothing)
furthermore, I train in such a way that the dog does not "get it wrong" and if they do, it's me, the trainer's fault and I need to adjust something ao that errorless learning can occur. dog's I train only "get it right". can explain more i person.
