What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The process is very smooth. Initially, we discuss the clients needs over the phone. Some typical points covered include square footage, house details such as basement or crawlspace, and time frame.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Over 10 years of residential and commercial construction experience constitutes the base of my knowledge. Plus Home Inspector Certifications through InterNACHI as well as AHIT, give me a well rounded approach to my career.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Yes we do. Our prices are fair and competitive. Our pricing structure is listed completely at out web site:

How did you get started in this business?

A desire to help people by utilizing my past experiences in commercial and residential construction an as a Licensed Realtor.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have a wide array of customers ranging from the owners of a small mobile home in Adairsville to the owners of a 5000 square foot home in Hoschton.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I recently made time in a very busy schedule to assist a first time home buyer with her inspection. Her first inspector did not make his appointment and I was able to step in and keep her within her 10 day limit for an inspection for her real estate transaction.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Look around. Not all home inspectors are the same. Georgia has no Certification requirement to be a home inspector, so be sure to focus on those who have achieved certification through an organization like InterNACHI. InterNACHI, is the ONLY Home Inspector Certification company that is recognized by the Department of Education. That is important.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Please be sure that you are prepared to move forward when you schedule a home inspection through a third party like Homeguide or Home Advisor. Once you put in a request through one of these entities, all inspectors who respond to your request ar charged for the “lead”, wether an agreement to represent is reached or not.
