At DeKorum, we are focused on providing excellent services to our community in South Florida. We are a Licensed Interior Design Firm with experience in both commercial and residential interiors.Our diversified portfolio includes office space, retail stores, restaurants, along with staged and custom built homes.

DeKorum welcomes both large and small projects. We are committed to serving our customers with every task we take. Our first priority is to understand each of our client’s needs, followed by specific creative solutions. We embrace all styles of design from traditional to contemporary, while maintaining our commitment to quality and satisfaction.
We have over 25 years experience in the field. I am a Florida native and my partner comes from Nicaraqua. We have a passion to engage each and every client, learning their specific style. We then work towards creating a space that is beautiful, with the intention to inspire them each and every day to love the space they are in.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We normally go and meet each customer at the space they are looking to have serviced. We then discuss each of their areas they need to have addressed. We then work up an estimate for our services and email it to them for reveiw. Once they have accepted the proposal, we work out a timeline for which the work will be completed in, and get started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my degree in Interior Design, along with working in the field for 19 years, I have my Interior Design license.
My business partner also has her degree in Interior Design, and has been working the field for 6 years.

How did you get started in this business?
I went to school for Interior Design.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Residential and Commercial Clients. A couple fixing up their first home, to a Restaurantuer buidling his first restaurant.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We assisted a family who recently purchased a new home, and they needed help picking new paint colors for the home. We then proceeded to assist them in remodeling their kitchen with new finish on their cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless sink and faucet, along with lighting to accent the room. We were able to help them select blinds for their windows, and artwork and accessories to highlight each room. We also worked with their electrician to install new recessed lighting in the main living areas. The overalll result was a welcoming space they are excited to bring their family and friends to.
