What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Working with a client is a very exciting process. I enjoy getting to know them and their style. It's best to meet in their home to discuss their needs and to explain the design process. There are several scenarios and my clients determine which one best works for them and best keeps them in budget.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 20 years experience in interior design. I also have a bachelors degree in interior design.

i do not have a standard pricing system. My clients guide me to what is best friends for them.

How did you get started in this business?

I started in the design business because as an artist I needed to express my creativity. I stumbled upon interior design at a young age, when my best friends parents were renovating their home & I realized how much I loved the process. As it turns out the interior design company renovating their home hired me right out of college!!

What types of customers have you worked with?

My clients have been diverse in that they have been of varying ages, diverse finances and diverse styles. I design for them, their home in the end is a reflection of who they are. I take great pride in that.

Describe a recent project you are fond of.

I met one of my most recent clients through a contractors recommendation. She is sophisticated, elegant, classic and in someways a bit Hollywood. In the end her home was every bit her!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

The best advice I can give in hiring a design professional is hire someone you like, get along with and have above all easy communication.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

You must think through what your desires are, your needs, the usage of the particular space. Then I would also suggest looking through magazines and pulling pages of what you like.
